The length of trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is situated from the B4640 County Boundary (R. Enborne) to its junction with the A339 Swan Roundabout and the A339 Swan Roundabout to points at the back of the nosings on the northbound entry slip road and the southbound exit slip roads from the A34 Newbury Bypass including:
the A339/B4640 Swan roundabout;
the A339/A343 St John’s Road roundabout;
the A339/B3241 Kings Road roundabout;
the A339/A4 Robin Hood roundabout;
the A339/Vodafone roundabout;
the B4640 from West Berkshire/Hampshire County Boundary to the A339 Swan roundabout;
all parallel lay-bys and cycle tracks;
all structures
and is shown by broad black dashes on the plan numbered HA 10/OD/400 marked “The A339 (B4640 County Boundary (River Enborne) to A339 Swan Roundabout to A34/A339 Junction) (Detrunking) Order 2003.” signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at DfT Records Management Branch, Floor 13 (IMD), Ashdown House, St Leonards on Sea, Hastings, East Sussex TN37 7GA.
