42.  In regulation 1 of the National Health Service (Transfer of Officers) (No 2) Regulations 1986 (interpretation)(1), in paragraph (2), for the definition of “Authority” there is substituted—

““Authority” means a Strategic Health Authority or Health Authority.”.
