3. In Rule 1(2)—
(a)in sub-paragraph (a), for “Rule 1A” there shall be substituted “Rules 1A and 1B”, and “other than fishing vessels of less than 12 metres in length” shall be omitted,
(b)for sub-paragraph (b) there shall be substituted—
“(b)Where a heading of a Rule refers to additional requirements, that Rule shall come into force on 23rd November 2002 for fishing vessels constructed before 23rd November 1995 only in so far as their structural characteristics permit.”, and
(c)in sub-paragraph (c), at the end of paragraph (i) the word “and” and paragraph (ii) shall be omitted.
