Repeal of unnecessary provisions

7.—(1) The Credit Unions Act 1979 is amended as follows.

(2) In section 4 (rules), subsection (4) is repealed.

(3) In subsection (2) of section 31 (interpretation), omit “71,”.

(4) In subsection (2) of section 32 (Northern Ireland), omit “under section 71 of the 1965 Act”.
