Commission Areas (West Mercia) Order 2002

Whereas the West Mercia magistrates' court committee have, in pursuance of section 32A(1) of the Justices of the Peace Act 1997(1) submitted to the Lord Chancellor written proposals for the alteration of commission areas including parts of the area for which they are the committee:

And whereas by section 32A(4) and (5) of the Act it is provided that any order made by the Lord Chancellor under section 1(2) of that Act shall be taken to implement such proposals if it does so either without changes or only with changes which do not appear to him to be important and that any such order may contain such consequential and transitional provisions as appear to him to be necessary or expedient:

And whereas the provisions of sections 32A(2) of that Act have been complied with:

Now, therefore, the Lord Chancellor, in exercice of the powers conferred upon him by section 1(2) of that Act, makes the following Order:
