The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 24(1), (3) and (4) of, and paragraphs 8, 9 and 13 of Schedule 3 to, the Superannuation Act 1972(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, with the consent of the Treasury(2), hereby makes the following Regulations:

1972 c. 11. Section 24 was amended by section 13(1) of, and paragraph 10 of Schedule 2 to, the Police Pensions Act 1976 (c. 35).
