SCHEDULE 1GENERAL CORPORATE HEALTH PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

1The establishment of a timetable for the preparation of a community strategy(1).
2The level (if any) of the Commission for Racial Equality’s standard for local government to which the authority conforms(2)
3The number of complaints in a financial year to the Commission for Local Government Administration that were classified as “maladministration”.
4The percentage turnout for local elections.
5The percentage of authority buildings open to the public in which all areas are suitable for and accessible to disabled people.
6The number of types of transactions that can be delivered electronically as a percentage of the types of transactions for which electronic delivery is legally permissible.
7The percentage of invoices for commercial goods and services which were paid by the authority within 30 days of such invoices being received by the authority.
8The percentage of Council Tax collected.
9The percentage of non-domestic rates due for the financial year which were received by the authority.
10The percentage of senior management posts filled by women.
11The average number of working days/shifts lost due to sickness absence.
12Persons who leave the employment of the authority voluntarily as a percentage of employees in post.
13The percentage of employees retiring early (excluding ill-health retirements) as a percentage of the total work force.
14The percentage of employees retiring on grounds of ill health as a percentage of the total workforce.
15The percentage of employees declaring that they meet the Disability Discrimination Act 1995(3) disability definition within the authority workforce compared with the percentage of the economically active disabled people in the authority’s area.
16The percentage of employees from minority ethnic communities within the authority’s workforce compared with the percentage of economically active minority ethnic community population in the authority’s area.
17The number of employees declaring that they meet the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 disability definition as a percentage of the authority’s workforce.
18The percentage of employees from minority ethnic communities within the authority’s workforce.
19Percentage of minority ethnic uniformed staff and the percentage of minority ethnic community population of working age in the community.
