The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 4(2) of the Children Act 1989 (1) hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Parental Responsibility Agreement (Amendment) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on the 1st September 2001.
2. The form set out in the Schedule to the Parental Responsibility Agreement Regulations 1991(2) shall be replaced by the form set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.

These Regulations amend the Parental Responsibility Agreement Regulations 1991 by prescribing the form with revised notes. The notes to the form have been revised to provide the current contact details for the Children Panel and the Principal Registry of the Family Division. The notes also amend the reference to eligibility for legal aid to refer to eligibility for public funding.
