Citation, commencement and extent
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Child Minding and Day Care (Applications for Registration) (England) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 2nd July 2001.
(2) These Regulations extend only to England.
Interpretation
2. In these Regulations—
“date of birth” means in the case of a corporate body the date of incorporation;
“person in charge” means in relation to day care the individual appointed as the person in charge of providing actual day care by the applicant.
Applications for registration
3. Applicants for registration as a child minder or as a provider of day care shall include in their applications the information about the matters specified in the Schedule to these Regulations.
