9. With effect from 1st April 2000, the exclusion from legal aid work before that date of any barrister by virtue of section 42 of the Administration of Justice Act 1985(1) or of any solicitor by virtue of section 47(2) of the Solicitors Act 1974(2) shall also take effect as an exclusion from providing funded services.
