These Regulations further amend the National Health Service (General Medical Services) Regulations 1992 (“the 1992 Regulations”), which regulate the terms on which General Medical Services are provided under the National Health Service Act 1977.
Regulation 34(2) is amended to remove the reference to allowances for training doctors from the matters for which provision shall be made in a determination under paragraph (1) of that regulation. Health Authorities are now to make payments in respect of allowances for training doctors in accordance with the directions to Health Authorities concerning GP Registrars.
