1.—(1) This Schedule shall apply to the Fire Services Examinations Board(1).

(2) In this Schedule–

“the 1947 Act” means the Fire Services Act 1947(2);

“the 1978 Regulations” means the Fire Services (Appointments and Promotion) (Scotland) Regulations 1978(3);

“the 1985 Regulations” means the Fire Services (Examinations) Regulations 1985(4).

The Fire Services Examination Board was established by regulation 3 of the Fire Services (Examinations) Regulations 1988 (S.I. 1985/1176).
