The Traffic Director for London, in accordance with a direction given to him by the Secretary of State under section 58(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1991(1) and in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(2), and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order:—
Commencement and citation
1. This Order may be cited as The A1 Trunk Road (Barnet) Red Route (Clearway) Traffic Order 1996 Variation Order 2000, and shall come into force on 30th June 2000.
Variations
2. The A1 Trunk Road (Barnet) Red Route (Clearway) Traffic Order 1996 and Amendment slip(3) is varied by the following provision of this Order.
3. In Schedule 2 item 13 is deleted.
Revocation or variation of existing Orders
4. The A1 Trunk Road (Barnet) Red Route (Clearway) Traffic Order 1996 Experimental Variation Order 1999(4) is hereby revoked in so far as its provisions relate to any length of road specified in the tables in the schedules to this Order.
