These Regulations further amend the Social Security (General Benefit) Regulations 1982 (S.I. 1982/1408), the Social Security (Incapacity Benefit) Regulations 1994 (S.I. 1994/2946) and the Social Security (Incapacity for Work) (General) Regulations 1995 (S.I. 1995/311) to take into account the increase in the national minimum wage.
Regulation 2 increases the unemployability supplement earnings level from £3,042.00 to £3,094.00.
Regulation 3 increases the councillor’s allowance limit from £58.50 to £59.50.
Regulation 4 increases the incapacity for work therapeutic earnings from £58.50 to £59.50.
These Regulations do not impose a charge on business.
