The Welfare of Farmed Animals (England) Regulations 2000

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Agriculture (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1968 and vested in him1, and after consultation (in accordance with section 2 of the said 1968 Act), with such persons appearing to him to represent any interests concerned as he has considered appropriate, hereby makes the following Regulations, a draft of which has been approved by resolution of each House of Parliament:
