1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Minimum Wage (Increase in Development Rate for Young Workers) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 1st June 2000.
2. In regulation 13(1) of the National Minimum Wage Regulations 1999(1), for “£3.00” there is substituted “£3.20”.
3. The increase in hourly rate effected by regulation 2 does not apply in relation to any pay reference period (within the meaning assigned to that expression by regulation 10 of the National Minimum Wage Regulations 1999) beginning before 1st June 2000.
