The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 18(8)(a) and (b) of the Employment Tribunals Act 1996(1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Employment Tribunals Act (Application of Conciliation Provisions) Order 2000 (Revocation) Order 2000 and comes into force on 19th May 2000.
2. The Employment Tribunals Act (Application of Conciliation Provisions) Order 2000(2) is revoked.

Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Competitiveness,
Department of Trade and Industry
16th May 2000
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order, which comes into force on 19th May 2000, revokes the Employment Tribunals Act (Application of Conciliation Provisions) Order 2000. The reason is that the revoked Order contains a discrepancy between the title in the heading and the title, set out in Article 1, by which the Order may be cited.
1996 c. 17. Under section 1(2) of the Employment Rights (Dispute Resolution) Act 1998 (c. 8), the Act, formerly the Industrial Tribunals Act 1996, may now be cited as the Employment Tribunals Act 1996.
S.I. 2000/1299.
