2.—(1) The Education (National Curriculum) (Key Stage 1 Assessment Arrangements) (England) Order 1999(1) shall be amended as follows.
(2) In article 5 there shall be inserted at the end the following paragraph—
“(8) As soon as reasonably practicable after standard test and task assessments have been administered to pupils pursuant to sub-paragraph (1), the head teacher shall provide the local education authority with a signed statement, confirming that those standard test and task assessments were administered in accordance with the provisions of the document in which they were published.”(2).
S.I. 1999/1236, to which there are amendments not relevant to this Order.
