The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 2(10) and 15(5) and (7) of the Local Government Act 1988F1 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Annotations are categorised by annotation type, such as F-notes for textual amendments and I-notes for commencement information (a full list can be found in the Editorial Practice Guide). Each annotation is identified by a sequential reference number. For F-notes, M-notes and X-notes, the number also appears in bold superscript at the relevant location in the text. All annotations contain links to the affecting legislation.
Amendments (Textual)
F11988 c.9; section 2(10) was inserted, and section 15(5) amended, by the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994 (c.39), Schedule 13, paragraph 156(3) and (4).
