1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Contributions and Credits) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 1999 and shall come into force—
(a)for the purposes of regulations 8 and 9(2) and (3), on 6th April 1999 immediately after the coming into force of regulations 2(6), 3(2)(b) and (3) respectively of the Social Security Contributions, Statutory Maternity Pay and Statutory Sick Pay (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 1999(1);
(b)for all other purposes, on 6th April 1999.
(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations” means the Social Security (Contributions) Regulations 1979(2).
