17. In paragraph 3(1)(1) of Schedule 9A (deductions of mortgage interest from benefit and payment to qualifying lenders), for the words “adjudicating authority in accordance with regulation 34A, shall be paid by the Secretary of State” there shall be substituted the words “Secretary of State in accordance with regulation 34A, shall be paid”.
