4. These Regulations apply to committees in Greater London until the Greater London Magistrates' Courts Authority becomes the magistrates' courts authority for Greater London under section 30A(1).
Section 30A is inserted into the Justices of the Peace Act 1997 by section 83 of the Access to Justice Act 1999 (c. 22) which comes into force on such date as the Lord Chancellor may by order appoint.
