Mae'r diffiniad yn cynnwys gwŷr a gwragedd; personau sy'n byw gyda'i gilydd fel gŵr a gwraig; rhieni; teidiau a neiniau (tad-cuod a mam-guod); plant; wyrion ac wyresau; brodyr; chwiorydd; ewythrod; modrybedd; neiaint; a nithoedd. Ni all y Cyngor dalu grant ond os yw'r ceisydd neu aelod o'i deulu yn bwriadu byw yn y cartref newydd.
