Exemption of collection of refuse and other cleaning
3.—(1) The collection of refuse(1) and other cleaning(2) by South Somerset District Council shall not be treated as defined activities so long as they are carried out during the period beginning with the date on which this Order comes into force and ending immediately before 1st May 2001.
(2) The collection of refuse and other cleaning by Thurrock Borough Council shall not be treated as defined activities so long as they are carried out during the period beginning with 1st October 1999 and ending immediately before 1st October 2000.
