Citation, commencement and application

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Teachers’ Qualifications and Health Standards) (England) Regulations 1999 and shall come into force on 1st September 1999.

(2) These Regulations shall apply in relation to England(1).

Functions under section 218 of the Education Reform Act 1988 transferred to the National Assembly for Wales by virtue of S.I. 1999/672.
