2. For article 2 of the Stansted Airport Aircraft Movement Limit Order 1987, there shall be substituted–
“2. Subject to article 3, at Stansted Airport the number of occasions on which aircraft may take-off or land shall be limited–
(a)to 120,000 in the period commencing on the date of coming into force of this Order and ending on 29th February 2000; and
(b)to 185,000 in each succeeding period of one year commencing on 1st March 2000.”.
