In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 484 and 569(4) of the Education Act 1996(1) the Secretary of State for Education and Employment hereby makes the following Regulations:

1996 c. 56; amended by the School Standards and Framework Act 1998, section 7(10) and Schedule 30, paragraph 125; see section 579(1) for the definition of “regulations”.
