In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 499(6), (7) and (8) and 569(4) of the Education Act 1996(1), the Secretary of State for Education and Employment hereby makes the following Regulations:

1996 c. 56; section 499 was amended by section 9 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (c. 31).
