Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Football Spectators (Seating) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 31st July 1999.

Direction

2.—(1) The Secretary of State hereby directs the Football Licensing Authority as set out in paragraph (2) below.

(2) When granting any licence to admit spectators(1) to the premises specified in column (1) of Schedule 1 hereto and further identified in column (2) of that Schedule by the name of the football club of which it is the home ground, it shall include a condition imposing the requirements, as respects the seating of spectators at designated football matches(2) at the said premises, specified in Schedule 2 hereto.
