Public Appointments Order in Council dated 23rd November 1995
173.—(1) The Public Appointments Order in Council 1995(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In the preamble, after “Ministers of the Crown”, in both places where those words appear, there is inserted “or a member of the Scottish Executive”.
(3) In article 1, in the definitions of “appointing authority” and “public appointment”, after “a Minister of the Crown”, there is inserted “or a member of the Scottish Executive”.

The 1995 Order in Council was amended by the Public Appointments Order in Council 1998 dated 21st July 1998. Copies of both Instruments are available from the Privy Council Office at 68 W hitehall, London, SW1A 2AT.
