The Commissioners of Customs and Excise, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 13(1), (1A), (2), (3) and (3A) of the Customs and Excise Duties (General Reliefs) Act 1979(1), and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
1979 c. 3; subsection (1A) was inserted by section 15 of the Finance Act 1984 (c. 43); subsection (3) was amended by section 15 of the Finance Act 1984 and by paragraph 8(1) of Schedule 1 to the Finance (No. 2) Act 1992 (c. 48); subsection (3A) was inserted by paragraph 8(2) of Schedule 1 to the Finance (No. 2) Act 1992; section 18(2) applies the definition of “the Commissioners” given by section 1(1) of the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979 (c. 2) as meaning the Commissioners of Customs and Excise.
