The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3(4) of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having undertaken such consultation as appeared to him to be appropriate, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Cambuslang College (Change of Name) (Scotland) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st March 1999.
2. The name of Cambuslang College is changed to South Lanarkshire College, and the name of the board of management of that college is changed to the Board of Management of South Lanarkshire College.

This Order changes the name of Cambuslang College to South Lanarkshire College. That college is under the control of a board of management in terms of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992 and the Order therefore also changes the name of the board of management to reflect the new name of the College.
