(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into force on 1st May and 1st July 1999 respectively, the following provisions of the Government of Wales Act 1998–
1st May 1999
Schedule 6 paragraphs 1 and 2, and section 104(6) so far as relating thereto.
Schedule 9 paragraph 17(9), and section 111(2) so far as relating thereto.
1st July 1999
All remaining provisions of section 104 and Schedule 6.
All remaining paragraphs of Schedules 9, 10 and 12 and sections 111(2), 112 and 125 so far as relating thereto.
All remaining repeals in Part 1 of Schedule 18 and section 152 so far as relating thereto.
