3.  The date of 1st May 1999 is appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Act–

• Schedule 6 paragraphs 1 and 2 and section 104(6) so far as relating thereto (Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Schools in Wales – Status of Office).

• Schedule 9 paragraph 17(9) and section 111(2) so far as relating thereto (Welsh Administration Ombudsman – “relevant tribunal”).
