1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the National Health Service Trusts (Appointment of Trustees) (Scotland) Order 1999, and shall come into force on 9th April 1999.
(2) In this Order–
“the Act” means the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978;
“the Trust” means each of the National Health Service Trusts specified in Schedule 1 to this Order.
2. The chairman, non-executive directors and executive directors of each respective Trust are appointed trustees ex officiis for the purpose of holding any property which is to be held in trust on behalf of that Trust under section 12G of the Act.
3. The Regulations specified in Schedule 2 to this Order are hereby revoked.
