Revocations and savings
7.—(1) Subject to paragraphs (2) and (3), the Students' Allowances (Scotland) Regulations 1996(1) are hereby revoked.
(2) The Regulations revoked by paragraph (1) shall continue to apply in all respects as regards allowances awarded under those Regulations.
(3) The provisions of paragraph (2) are without prejudice to the general operation of sections 16 and 17 of the Interpretation Act 1978(2).
