Amendment of Establishment Order

2.  For Article 3 of the Northwick Park Hospital National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992(1) there shall be substituted the following Article:—

Nature and functions of the trust

3.(1) The trust is established for the purposes specified in section 5(1) of the Act.

(2) The trust’s functions (which include functions which the Secretary of State considers appropriate in relation to the provision of services by the trust for one or more Health Authorities) shall be:—

(a)to own and manage pursuant to section 5(1)(a) of the Act Northwick Park Hospital (Acute Unit), Watford Road, Harrow, Middlesex HA1 3UJ and associated hospitals, and there to provide hospital accommodation and services; and

(b)to provide and manage pursuant to section 5(1)(b) of the Act a vascular and breast surgery centre at St. Mark’s Hospital, Watford Road, Harrow, Middlesex HA1 3UJ and there to provide hospital accommodation and services..
