The Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Radioactivity in Sheep) (Wales) (Partial Revocation) Order 1998

Title and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Radioactivity in Sheep) (Wales) (Partial Revocation) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 21st January 1998.

Partial Revocation

2.—(1) The Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Radioactivity in Sheep) (Wales) Order 1991 is hereby revoked—

(a) with respect to the designated area numbered 1A in Schedule 1 to that Order;

(b) with respect to that part of the designated area numbered 2 in Schedule 1 to that Order which is set out in Part I of the Schedule to this Order;

(c) with respect to that part of the designated area numbered 11 in Schedule 1 to that Order which is set out in Part II of the Schedule to this Order.

(2) In consequence of that revocation that Order shall be amended as follows—

(a) in article 6(1)(a)(i) and 6(1)(b)(i) the word “1A,” shall be deleted;

(b) for paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 there shall be substituted the paragraph set out in Part III of the Schedule to this Order; and

(c) for paragraph 11 of Schedule 1 there shall be substituted the paragraph set out in Part IV of the Schedule to this Order.
