The Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of hospitals and other establishments and facilities formerly managed by Mid Glamorgan District Health Authority(2) resulting from the establishment of Rhondda Health Care National Health Service Trust(3), having consulted Bro Taf Health Authority(4) and that Trust in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:—

(1)

1977 c. 49; section 92 has been amended by section 11(5) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 (c. 19) and paragraph 44 of Schedule 1 to the Health Authorities Act 1995 (c. 17) (“the 1995 Act”).

(2)

On 1st April 1996 Mid Glamorgan District Health Authority ceased to exist as a result of the 1995 Act.

(4)

See S.I. 1996/146 under which Bro Taf Health Authority was established and S.I. 1996/495 by virtue of which there was transferred to it all trust property held by Mid Glamorgan District Health Authority.
