This Order appoints 3rd March 1998 as the date on which the set of guidelines (“the guidelines”) issued by the Parades Commission for Northern Ireland (“the Commission”) under section 5 of the Public Processions (Northern Ireland) Act 1998 (“the 1998 Act”) will come into operation.
The guidelines relate to the exercise by the Commission of its functions under section 7 of the 1998 Act (power to impose conditions on public processions).
The guidelines are published by the Commission and copies may be obtained from the Commission at 12th Floor, Windsor House, 6-12 Bedford Street, Belfast BT2 7EL.
