The Secretary of State, in exercise of powers conferred on him by sections 3(3) and (4) and 7(2) of the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Act 1997(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having consulted the United Kingdom Central Council for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting in accordance with section 7(5) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:—
