The Water Undertakers (Extension of Byelaws) (No. 2) Order 1998

Coming into force

30th September 1998

The Secretary of State, in exercise of powers conferred by section 19(6) of the Water Act 1945(1) and now vested in him(2), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Water Undertakers (Extension of Byelaws) (No. 2) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 30th September 1998.

Extension of water byelaws

2.  The byelaws listed in column (2) of the Schedule and made by, or having effect as if made by the water undertakers listed in column (1) of the Schedule under section 17 of the Water Act 1945 (prevention of waste of water etc.) shall remain in force until 30th September 1999.
