Citation and commencement
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as The West of Scotland Water Authority (Loch Lossit, Islay) (Amendment) Water Order 1998 and shall come into force on 28th July 1998.
(2) This Order and The Argyll County Council (Loch Lossit, Islay) Water Order 1960(1) (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Order”) may be cited together as The West of Scotland Water Authority (Loch Lossit, Islay) Water Orders 1960 and 1998.
Amendment of the principal Order
2.—(1) In article 5(2) of the principal Order, for the expression “25,000 gallons” there shall be substituted the expression “300 cubic metres (66,000 gallons)”.
(2) For the Schedule to the principal Order there shall be substituted the Schedule to this Order.
Miscellaneous
3. The West of Scotland Water Authority shall at all times after the expiration of six months from the date on which this Order comes into force keep a copy thereof at the office of the Chief Executive of the Authority.
