Article 9
SCHEDULE
Amendments of Regulations relating to superannuation and compensation for premature retirement and redundancy
1. In the Teachers (Compensation for Premature Retirement and Redundancy) (Scotland) Regulations 1996(1) in Schedule 1 there shall be inserted at the end the following paragraph:—
“9. The University Court of the University of Edinburgh”.
2. In the Teachers' Superannuation (Scotland) Regulations 1992(2), in Schedule 2, after paragraph 5B there shall be inserted the following paragraph:–
“5C. Employment as a teacher in the Faculty of Education or the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Edinburgh, where the teacher immediately before 1st August 1998 was in pensionable employment at Moray House Institute of Education, was transferred to employment at the University of Edinburgh on 1st August 1998 and has not ceased to be employed in the Faculty of Education or the Faculty of Social Sciences there at any time since that date.”.
