The Lord Chancellor and the Lord Advocate, in exercise of their powers under section 19(5) of the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Act 1997(1), and as respects proceedings in England and Wales and in Scotland, respectively, hereby approve the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors (Professional Conduct) (Amendment) Rules 1998 made by the United Kingdom Central Council for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting and set out in the Schedule hereto.
