Amendment of NHS trust Establishment Order

2.  In article 3 of the Worcester Royal Infirmary National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1993(1) (functions of the trust)—

(a)in paragraph (1) for “section 5(1)(a)” there shall be substituted “section 5(1)(b)”; and

(b)for paragraph (2) there shall be substituted the following new paragraph:—

“(2) The trust’s functions shall be—

(a)to provide and manage hospital accommodation and services at all or any of the following hospitals—

  • Worcester Royal Infirmary (Castle Street Branch), Castle Street, Worcester, Worcestershire WR1 3AS,

  • Worcester Royal Infirmary (Newtown Branch), Newtown Road, Worcester, Worcestershire WR5 1JG,

  • Worcester Royal Infirmary (Ronkswood Branch), Ronkswood Road, Newtown Road, Worcester, Worcestershire WR5 1HN,

and at any other premises which are for the time being associated with any of those hospitals; and

(b)to manage community health services provided from Worcester Royal Infirmary (Newtown Branch), Newtown Road, Worcester, Worcestershire WR5 1JG and to provide the associated premises.”.
