These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Social Fund and Claims and Payments) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 1997 and shall come into force on 7th April 1997.

In these Regulations, “the General Regulations” means the Social Fund Maternity and Funeral Expenses (General) Regulations 19874.
