Amendments consequent upon local government reorganisation in Scotland
9. In the Schedule, for items 9, 10 and 11 there shall be substituted the following—
“9 Every council constituted under section 2 of the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994(1). | (a)Bodies connected with the fulfilment of any duty imposed on the council by the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968(2). (b)Schools or other educational establishments which fulfil the duty of the council under the Education (Scotland) Act 1980(3) with respect to the provision of education, and bodies connected with such schools or educational establishments. (c)Community councils within the area of the council. (d)Bodies which assist and co-ordinate activities of community bodies within the area of the council.” |
