The Lords of Council and Session, under and by virtue of the powers conferred on them by section 7 of the Valuation of Lands (Scotland) Amendment Act 1879(1) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, do hereby enact and declare:
1.—(1) This Act of Sederunt may be cited as the Act of Sederunt (Lands Valuation Appeal Court) 1997 and shall come into force on 10th March 1997.
(2) This Act of Sederunt shall be inserted in the Books of Sederunt.
2.—(1) The judges named for the purposes of appeal under section 7 of the Valuation of Lands (Scotland) Amendment Act 1879 shall be as follows:—
The Honourable Lord Prosser
The Honourable Lord Coulsfield
The Honourable Lord Milligan
The Honourable Lord Gill
The Honourable Lord Philip
(2) The Act of Sederunt (Lands Valuation Appeal Court) 1996(2) is revoked.

This Act of Sederunt appoints the judges who may hear appeals under section 7 of the Valuation of Lands (Scotland) Amendment Act 1879. The Act of Sederunt revokes the Act of Sederunt (Lands Valuation Appeal Court) 1996.
1879 c. 42; section 7 was amended by the Rating and Valuation (Scotland) Act 1952 (c. 47), Schedule 2, the Valuation and Rating (Scotland) Act 1956 (c. 60), Schedule 7, Part III, the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1966 (c. 51), section 23(1) and Schedule 6, and the Rating and Valuation (Amendment) (Scotland) Act 1984 (c. 31), section 13(1) and (3).
