The Rent Assessment Committees (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 1997

Amendments

2.  The Rent Assessment Committees (England and Wales) Regulations 1971(1) shall be amended by substituting for regulation 2A(2) from the start to the end of paragraph (1):

“1988 and 1989 Act references

2A.— (1) This regulation applies where a reference is made under:

• paragraph 5 of Schedule 5 to the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954(3) as applied by paragraph 19 of Schedule 10 to the Local Government and Housing Act 1989(4);

• section 6, 13, 14A or 22 of the Housing Act 1988(5); or

• paragraph 6(2) or 10(2) of Schedule 10 to the Local Government and Housing Act 1989.”.
